Last week I did a shoot around Digbeth with unsigned Birmingham metal band Forlorn. I've reviewed both fo Forlorn's EPs for Powerplay Magazine, and I really think they've got what it takes, so I was really glad when they asked me to do some shots of them. Today I met with my first wedding clients - Robin and Jenny - to discuss what they would like me to take on their big day in July. We also managed to dodge the showers for a 10 minute engagement shoot on Kenilworth Common. Robin is one of my oldest and best friends, so I'm really chuffed to have been asked to shoot their day. Can't wait to do it!

Well, long time no blog updates! I do have an excuse...I've just started a journalism training course up in Manchester so haven't had much chance to take some photos. However, the last couple of weeks I have trialling a new idea of mine - lunchtime portrait. Basically, I spend 10 minutes doing a shoot in one or two locations, and aim to get at least five good shots from it. I'm hoping it can be something that I can offer as a photographic service in the future, and my fellow course mates have been acting as guinea pigs for me. I've decided to best my favourite ones so far - they were all done in 10 minute shoots, and all the locations are on one street in Manchester. Enjoy.
