Defenders of the Faith

Last Thursday night I made my first trip to the Academy since it has been rebranded by O2, all to witness the second Defenders of the Faith tour. Thanks to Virgin trains I missed Five Finger Death Punch, but I was there to catch the excellent Unearth, a band who I had seemed destined never to see live until this tour. They were worth the wait!

Here's some more Unearth...

Up next were Norway's Dimmu Borgir, not my type of thing musically, but great to photograph.

Rounding things off, probably the best metal band in the world today, the amazing Lamb of God.

This was the third time I'd photographed the band, with these shots easily being my best ones of them yet.

No need to write much here, Lamb of God are awesome - 'nuff said!

That's it for this one. Keep checking back here for pics of Reel Big Fish, Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Testament. Ciao for now!
